Welcome to my very first food blog post. IтАЩm just starting out, and what better way to begin than with the flavors of my home stateтАФUttar Pradesh. IтАЩm not a professional chef (yet!), but I love exploring food that feels familiar, comforting, and full of stories.

UP is where I grew up, where IтАЩve tasted food thatтАЩs spicy, sweet, and everything in between. From street-side snacks to festival feasts, every dish has a memory attached. So I thoughtтАФwhy not share it?
ЁЯН╜я╕П What I Tried First: Aloo Tikki
SO LET ME SHARE THE ALOO TIKKI RECIPE
Ingredients: ALOO TIKKI RECIPE INCLUDES
IN HINDIЁЯМ╣
- Aloo – 6 (boil kar ke 4-5 hr thanda kar lijiye)
- Pudina – 1 tbsp (chopped)
- Hari Mirch – 2 (finely chopped)
- Moti Pisi hui Lal Mirch
- 1 tsp Kala Namak
- 1/2 tsp Safed Namak
- 1 tsp Nimbu ka Ras
- 1/2 tsp Chawal ka powder
- 3-4 tbsp Oil – to cook
IN ENGLISHЁЯМ╗
- Boiled potatoes
- Chopped green chilies
- Coriander leaves
- Salt, red chili powder, and garam masala
- A little cornflour for crispiness
ALOO TIKKI RECIPE STEPS INCLUDE:
1. BOIL the potatoes
2. Smash the Potatoes
3.MIX in all the spices
4.Form in the shape of patties
5. fry until golden brown and serve
I served it with tamarind chutney ,and dahi or yogurtтАФand wow, it tasted like the street food stalls near my college!

IтАЩm planning to try Mathura ke Pede next. ItтАЩs a sweet made with milk solids and sugar. IтАЩve never made sweets before, so this will be a fun challenge.
